Stone Vessel, Black Onyx + Green Jade

$260

Abel’s first object for the home is a small yet substantial box, hand-carved by Peruvian artisans from semi-precious stone.

The Stone Vessels are designed to be as useful as they are beautiful — they can hold treasured keepsakes, serve as salt and pepper cellars, burn incense, or simply exist as a striking object.

Available in three colorways with tiered pricing for sets, the tops and bottoms can be mix and matched to create your own combinations. Purchase two vessels for $495, three for $699 (discount will be automatically applied at checkout).

Each stone varies naturally, making every box one of a kind. Made in small batches; limited quantities available.

HANDCRAFTED BY PERUVIAN ARTISANS

Riquelme, Eliseo, Huari, and Victor — these are the four artisans who handcraft each Stone Vessel in Pacasmayo and Lima, Peru.

Over the past decade, cheaper forms of mass production have led to the disappearance of artisanal stone carving practices and workshops. The Stone Vessels aim to refocus value on traditional craft and support the hands that carry it forward.

Both the material and making of the Stone Vessels are rooted in Peru — each vessel is made of semi-precious stone sourced from the Andes, and carved by Peruvian artisans.
